I enjoy working at Hasmonean because there is a clear and shared focus on high academic achievement. The students are proactive, especially when preparing for exams.
The Science Department is well organised, making the planning of lessons faster and easier through detailed curriculum plans and a plethora of resources for each topic. School leaders have a ‘hands-on’ approach; it makes me feel supported. Minor problems can be rectified before they become bigger problems.

This is the only school I have taught in where every student thanks you as you leave the room. They are a special bunch. I am a firm believer that teaching is a two way thing; if the students are prepared to give me their time then they absolutely deserve my time.

Hasmonean is more than just a school to me; it's like a second home. From day one, I felt this incredible warmth and acceptance that made me truly believe in myself. It's amazing how they manage to strike the perfect balance between pushing us to excel academically, teaching us Torah values, and still allowing us to enjoy life and chill. What truly touches my heart is the genuine desire our Teachers and Rebbes have for each and every one of us to succeed. They go above and beyond to ensure we reach our full potential, and that's something I'll forever be grateful for.
We try to unlock the potential of all our students at all levels. One boy left in Year 10 and went to Yeshiva in Israel. When I spoke to him recently, he told me that the level of education he received at Hasmonean was higher than at Yeshiva.

Hasmonean has provided me with an invaluable skill set of Torah im Derech Eretz, and I am grateful for the incredible academic provisions that are available.
