The Governors of Hasmonean High School for Boys and Hasmonean High School for Girls would like to start a consultation regarding our Admissions Policy 2025-26.
The changes include amendments and clarification of our admissions procedures for our oversubscription criteria:
- Clarification of Criteria 2 regarding medical or social need and the inclusion of a specific form.
- Criteria 3 for siblings to be changed to “at time of application” instead of “at time of admission”.
- Criteria 4 for eldest children to include students who have an older sibling with special needs who have an EHCP and attend specialist educational provision.
- Sixth Form oversubscription criteria to follow the same oversubscription criteria as secondary transfer and in-year applicants rather than based solely on distance from the school.
The consultation period will run for a minimum of 6 weeks (from Monday 27th November 2023 until Friday 12th January 2024).
